KaligemaakuniDi keivalyam

Pallavi:    Kalige maakuniDi keivalyam  kalakaalam Hari kadhaa sravaNam.

It is a great blessing,  always listening to the stories of Lord  Sree Hari.

CharaNam1:   AchinthyamaDbhutham  AnanDam, Prachuram divyam paavanam
Sucharithram sruthi sobhitham, Achalam biDivo Hari keerthanam

Singing  Sree Hari is,  wonderful  unimaginable  happyness,  devine , Sacred , popular,  like a good  story narration, conformedly  glorious to listen.

CharaNam2:    Niratham Nithyam nikhila subhakaram, Duritham Hara bhava Dooram
Parama mangaLam bhavaatheetham, karivaradam  nija keinkaryam

Listening to the KarivaraDa's story regularly ,daily is very good thing , drives away the sins, Very auspicious,  beyond  imagination and  is a true offering.

Kari means an elephant. Once upon a time, there used  to be an elephant which was an ardent devotee of Sree Hari. One  day, it was caught by a crocadile, while drinking water in a pond.  The elephant  (GajenDra ),  cried  loudly , calling Sree Hari. Immediately,  sree Hari left Veikutha, without  even telling His wife Sree Maha Lakshmi, Saved his devotee. From then onwards, Hari got a title as KarivaraDa.
This anecdote  from  "Sree Maha bhagavath" is titled as "GajenDra Moksham."

CharaNam3:   Sulabham sukaram sokanaasanam, phalaDam lalitham bhayaharaNam
Kalitham  sree venkatapathi  saraNam, jalanoDara nichcha stothram.

Praying daily, the lotus navelled  Hari  is easy,  leaves everything good,  destroys  the sorrow , gives good results, simple and burns the fears. In kaliyuga, it is Sree
Venkatapathi ,  a shelter, truely to all.

In this song, Annamayya  explains us,  how great it is listening the Sacréd stories of Sree hari. How many advantages, how many benifits are there, by
singing or worshipping  Lord Hari regularly.

This is the marriage scene of the Devine , Narasimha swami with AaDi Maha Lakshmi.
Hay!! Look at them, they are sitting on the seats, opposite to one another. Those stools on which the bride and bridegroom sat are, Vedaadri and GarudaDri, which are the reserves of silver and gold.
See the heights of the Devine Marriage.  How much huge Sri AaDi Lakshmi and Narasimha are???.
See the abundance of the wealth in the Hills VeDaadri and Garudaadri.
Peeta"  means low height stool used to sit on. "

Sri AaDi Mahaa Lakshmi and Sri Narasimha , took bath in two different Devine water reserves, decorated themself with fresh beautiful flowers, seated,  waiting to see each other , in an auspescious  time. ; here, a special custom of marriage is specified.

Paramaatmudeina Hari

Pallavi:          Paramaatmudeina Hari pattapuRaaNivineevu,
Dhara mammu vichaarimpa thagu neeku nammaa

O Mother!  The prime betterhalf of Lord Sree  Hari, the Paramatma ( the universal Self ),  have a little concern about us, about these world- beings.

CharaNam:1.      Kamalaju  gannathalli, kaamuni ganna thalli,
                            Amarula ganna thalli  ADima Lakshmi
Vimalapu nee pathiki vinnapamu seaci mammu ,
                       Nemakee yelithi Daya, neekae thagunamma

Hay Maha Lakshmi!!  You are the mother of Brahma ( born out of a lotus ), mother of Manmadha ( God of love ), mother of Deavathas, . It is only possible to you, to grace us the blessings of Sree Hari, by Kindly recommending  to him,to your absolutely pure husband.

CharaNam:2.               Kaamadhaenu thobuttuga, Kalpakamu thobuttuga,
                                   Domati challani chanDru  thobuttuga
                                 Neemagani pampunaku nijasiru lichchithivi,
                             Naemapu vitharaNamu neekaethagunammaa,

You have gifted your husband Sree Hari, the true treasure generators , “Kamadhenu “
( a Devine Cow which grants all wishes ), “Kalpakamu “( a Devine tree which fulfills the demands ) and “The full Moon”, who are born along with you. It is only possible to you , to show, this type of  love exchanges.

CharaNam3:     Paalajaladhi kanyavu padmaasanivi neevu,
                          Paalapande Venkatapathi Devivi
                       Aelina ithani bantlaku, ihaparaalichchi,
                     Maa palagaligithivi sambanDhamu maelammaa

Hay Maha Lakshmi!! You are born in Milk-ocean, you sit squat in the Lotus, and the wife of Sree venkatapathi. We too related to you,; because, you got granted all our worldly- nonworldly wishes from Sree Hari, to whom we are ever devotees.

Annamayya praises Ma ,Sree Mahalakshmi, in this song... In a very jovial manner, Annamayya speaks about the sweet relation between Sree Hari and Sree Maha Lakshmi.
Sree Mahalakshmi is mother of Brahma, Manmadha, ; hence, naturally lord Hari is father to them.
Kalpakam, Kaamadhenu, and Moon are the three Coborns of Maha Lakshmi. So, Sree Hari too owns them.
Whatever a wife owns can be shared by the beloved Husband too. A subtle expression of sharing the love, and Loved things is mentioned very beautifully by Annamacharya.

Brahma kadigina paaDamu

Pallavi:              Brahma kadigina PaaDamu, Brahmamu  thanaenee PaDamu

This foot is water washed by Brahma,   which  itself is of Brahma.

Charanam1:           Chelagi vasudha kolichina Dee paaDamu, Bali thala moopina PaaDamu
Thalakaka gaganamu thannina PaaDamu, balaripu gaachina paaDamu

This charanam is narrating the Vamanavatar, in which, Lord Vishnu incarnated as a short Brahmin boy.
Vaamanaa.  Lord Maha Vishnu, as Vamanavatar, requested Bali,  three feet land as donation.
Bali said yes. Immediately, Vamanaa kept one foot on Bali's head, pushing him to PaathaL lok. Next, second leg was stretched to the sky's, inorder to measure the universe. Then where to measure the third foot? Was the question. Referring to this story, the first charanam is sung by Annamayya.

The foot which measured the entire world, the foot which was kept on the head of the  Rakshasa's king, Bali , the foot which was stretched to the sky's, was the same which rescued  VibheeshaNa.

Charanam2:           Kaamini  Paapamu kadigina PaaDamu, Paamu thala nidina paaDamu
Preamapu sreesathi picikedi PaaDamu,  paamidi thuragapu PaaDamu

That foot, which washed off the sin of a woman,  that foot,  which was kept on the head of a snake,
that foot, which has been always massaged by the loved wife,  Sree MahaLakshmi, is the same kept on the horse.

In this charanam, Annamayya quotes anecdotes from RamayaNa and Maha Bhagavath.
The woman, who turned to a stone, due to a curse by her  husband  Athri Maha Muni, was Ahalya... When the foot of Sree Rama, touched the stone, curse  washed off, stone turned to original form as Ahalya.
The snake, referred to was KaLindi, who troubled the Gopalas, those gone for fetching water from a big pond,. Lord Sree Krishna, stood over the head of that Kalindi, and killed that.
Thuragapu paaDam" refers to Kalki,  the Kali Uga Avatar. It is believed, Kalki rides over a horse.

Charanam3:             Parama yogulaku., paripari vidhamula,  paramosagedi paaDamu
Thiru Venkatagiri  thiramani chupina parama PaDamu nee PaaDamu

That foot, which granted Salvation to so many yogis, in different ways, is the sacred foot of Lord Sree Thirupathi Venkatesa.., Seven hills are the Ultimate Destination of Kaliuga.

Here, in this song, Annamayya  praises the greatness of Lord's feet.
Who so ever takes shelter in the feet of Lord Venkatesa , will be blessed for ever.

Viswaprakasunaku veliaeda lonaeda

Pallavi:           Viswaprakaasunaku  veli eada loneada,  saswathunakoohimpa Janmamikaneada

Where is the" in and out" for the one who illuminates the entire universe.                                                 Is it possible to imagine the birth of the one, who is eternally permanent ?

Charanam:1.          Sarva paripoornunaku sancharamikaneada, nirvaaNa moorthyki  Nilayamikaneada
Vurveedharunaku kaalooDa nokachoteda,  Paarvathee sthuthunaku bhavamikaneada.

Why any motion, for an encompassing  comprehensive entity.  Why any particular place , for an all pervading figure.?    Where is any place left, to keep the foot?  for him, who holds the entire world?.
What is there left to think? for the one prayed by Devi Parvati , Lord Siva's better half.

Charanam:2.          Nanaprabhavunaku nadumeada. MoDaleada, Anana sahasrunakunu avvalivaleda
Mouni hruDayasthunaku maateada Palukeada, gnaanaswaroopunaku  kaana vinaneada

Is there any middle or beginning for an Omnipresent?  Is there any direction for the thousand faced  one?   Is there any need to speak or verse, for an  Omnisilent  one?. The Omnipresent , Omnidirectional, Omni silent , Almighty communicates through mind only.  So, that is ever existing
"Universal Mind" Narayanaya  only,  no doubt in it.

Charanam:3.    Parama  yogeendrunaku  paruleda thaaneda,  Duritha doorunaku sumsthuthi ninDaleda
Thiruvenkateswarunaku. Divya vigrahameda, Hariki NaarayaNunaku  avugaamuleada

For that great Yogi, all are equal. For that sinfree absolute purity,  a praise and curse are equal.
Is there any specific figure for the Supreme Devine, Thiru Venkatesa ?
Is there " yes or nos" to Sree Hari, who is the Omnipresent Narayanaya ?
Is there any thing impossible to Sree Hari?

Here, in this song, Annamayya  explains all characteristics  of "SreemaNnarayana."
Narayanaya is everywher.  It is  Narayanaya only, called Sree Hari or Sree Venkatesa.  The Lord  of the universal  Devine field of  Illumination, which has no middle or end, motionless,  communicates through Mind,, spread infinitely all directions, with encyclopaedic knowledge, Supreme  Consciousness , eternally  existing,  enveloping the  entire universe is nothing but That NaarayaNa, Hari , or Sree Venkateswara. Says Annamayya.

This song is the summary of "Kshetra Kshetragna vibhaga yoga"

                                       Om namo Venkatesa

Pallavi:            AkativeLala alapeina veLalanu, thekuva Hari namamea dikku mari leDu

When one is hungry or tired, only taking the name of Sree Hari is the way of rescue.

Charanam:1.       Koramalii unnaveLa kulamu chedinaveLa, cheravadi orulache chikkina veLa
Orapaina Hari Namamokkate gathigaakaa, marachi thappina neina marileDu theragu

When one is jobless, or thrown out of the caste, or caught in the hands of enemies and jailed, it is only and only the name of Sree Hari , the way of rescue.  There is no alternate solution, even by mistake, if forgotten the name of Hari.  So, hurry up. Take the name of Hari, all problems will be solved.

Charanam:2.       ApaDa vachchina veLa, Aradipadina veLa, paapapu veLala, bhayapadina veLa
Opinantha Hari namamokkate gatigaakaa, maapuDaaka poralina marilaeDu theragu

When one is in troubles, or in miserable times, or in sinful times, or in scary times, it is only and only, the name of Sree Hari, the way of rescue. There is no alternate solution , even if waited till tomorrow. So, hurry up. It is
only Sree Hari, who will save anyone , from these times of problems.

Charanam :3.          Sankelabettina veLa, champabilichina veLa, ankiliga nappulavaaraagina veLa
Venkatesu naamame vidipincha gathigaakaa,  mankubuddhi poralina marilaeDu
theragu.

When one is hand cuffed, or centenced to death, or the  loan recoverers stand at the main door, it is only and only Hari's name, that can rescue by freeing. There is no alternate solution , if one remains stupid.  So, hurry up. Take Hari's name, get out of all problems.

In this song, Annamayya preaches the greatness remembering Sree Hari's name.
Annamayya , authentically  says " Beleave Hari, releave problems"

                                 Om Namo Venkatesaya
